Welcome to Vintage Wedding Memories!  

We hope you will enjoy our meeting place for wedding collectors to gather, and share their stories or knowledge about the vintage wedding collectibles they love the most.  Emphasis will be placed on antique and vintage wedding cake toppers, since that is my passion.   My name is Penny Henderson and I am the author of "Vintage Wedding Cake Toppers" published by Schiffer Publishing in 2005.   

A wedding collectible might include an object or objects that began from the inception of the idea of marriage to the engagement, to the wedding day, the honeymoon, and later anniversaries.   The following is a list of some of the items associated with the wedding, but is by no means all inclusive:  engagement or wedding rings; personal gifts to the bride or the groom; personal gifts from the bride and groom to each other; engagement, shower, or wedding day souvenirs, games, or favors; bridal trousseau; groom's trousseau; wedding cake toppers; cake charms; Marriage globes; bride’s baskets; ephemera such as invitations, announcements, menus, cake compliments cards, paper dolls, place cards, etc.; photographs; wedding dolls; anniversary gifts such as tin items to celebrate the 10th anniversary.   This list names a few collectibles but I have no doubt there are many more objects of love from the marriage.
